Partners

AICS Kyiv, within the framework of initiatives funded by the Italian Cooperation, collaborates with a broad and diverse network of over 100 partners, including Italian, international, and Ukrainian civil society organizations (CSOs), as well as public and private institutions. Among these, ministries and institutions involved in project activities serve as key interlocutors, such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Agriculture.

A significant role is also played by the collaboration with municipalities and the Odessa Oblast, a city under Italy’s patronage and a focal point for numerous strategic interventions.

In the civil society landscape, AICS partners with a wide range of Italian CSOs, including: AMICI DEI BAMBINI, ARCA, ARCS, AVSI, CARITAS, CESVI, CONDIVISIONE FRA I POPOLI, CROCE ROSSA, CUAMM, CUMSE, EMERGENCY, FONDAZIONE ALBERO DELLA VITA, FOCSIV, HELPCODE, IBO, INTERSOS, MEDU, MISSIONE CALCUTTA, SANT’EGIDIO, SOLETERRE, SOS VILLAGGI DEI BAMBINI, TERRE DES HOMMES, VIS, and WE WORLD-GVC.

Numerous collaborations are also in place with international and local organizations, including ACTIONAID, ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM, BAID, CUAMM UK, MINE ACTION GROUP, NRC, PATRIR, PLAN INTERNATIONAL, and WORLD TO UKRAINIANS. More than 50 Ukrainian local counterparts support the implementation of Italian Cooperation-funded projects on the ground.

Finally, significant partnerships are maintained with international organizations and United Nations agencies, such as WFP, UNOPS, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP, UNHCR, and institutions like the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and CIHEAM Bari.

Pietro Pipi has been directing the Division for Rural Development and Food Security at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation since 2018. Additionally, he has served as interim director for the Human Resources Office, the Economic Development Office, and the AICS office in El Salvador.
